Limited edition DVD ‘bootleg’ available now

Only those paying attention will have noticed that a limited edition DVD 'bootleg' of the 2006 All Hamerican Pig Tour has been made available. Sponsorship hammered tin versions have sold out (thank you!) but we still have some of the limited 'art' edition - hand done art, each one different, signed and numbered, on kraft board. The DVD itself contains each song in the set list for the Hamerican shows, edited using the best sound quality version from one show, and footage from all available shows before the tour's early end. You can read more about the making of this DVD in the forum, and also learn about the bonus footage and videos. Reserve your copy of the limited 'art' edition, signed and numbered by sending the base price of $25 via Paypal to blackchurchj at gmail dot com. Once the DVDs arrive, you will be billed for the actual shipping cost to your location and notified as to when yours has been shipped. Update: Tin 'sponsorship' editions are now sold out. There are 20 'art' versions left and you can pay for it using this link. If you don't have a Paypal account, please use the link at the bottom of that page which allows you to use your credit card. Update 2: Both versions are now SOLD OUT. Watch for the regular (but also limited) versions coming in June. Thanks everyone!

Something hidden, something Nasty

We've unearthed some rare beauties and have made them available in the shop with a scrawl from the Lord of Lard. Please remember when you order that they've got to go to him for scrawling and then back to us for shipping. If you need them super fast, make that known and we'll invoice you for an express shipping method add-on. All proceeds, as usual, go to Raymond's new release fund.

Gems include the German pressing of Sick City / Shit For Brains which includes Peoria and the proper version of the artwork by the late Mike Matthews.

Also, Baltimore's Nasty Byte got in touch and let us know she's moved her video from the 2006 tour to Vimeo. You can check it out here:

The Kidnapping of Anna Wildsmith

Anna Wildsmith

The Swining and I, Absentee present the Raymond Watts and John Gosling remix of The Kidnapping of Anna Wildsmith, now available for purchase in the Swining shop. You can hear the sample there. All sales go to Anna.

This remix was part of what was planned to be either a 12" vinyl or digital-only remix EP from SOW. The plan was to make dance floor mixes for DJs, but the idea just never fully blossomed. We ended up with a fantastic remix from Watts and Gosling, completed in February 2010.

However, we had no clear outlet for where to release it, as "Dog" had just gone to press and the EP idea fell into limbo. It's possible the track could still see physical release someday, but there's no set time table for it at this point. Rather than leave the track gestating for months or possibly years, in the meantime, we thought we'd offer it as a one-off download purchase, based on the recent enthusiasm from fans.

You can purchase Sow's album Dog on the Sow website. Check out the album sampler. Sow - DOG album sampler
